“Trust only those who earn it.”
A sentiment I follow without direction but holds more consequence than ever before.
One decision, five lives, three futures.
This is what’s at stake. One night, one choice, four broken Brayshaws.
That is where we’re headed.Unless I stop it.
I ???? to stop it.I have to remind him of what he’s chosen to forget.
My town. My choice. ?? ending.
I received this book for free from Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
“A wolf may be stronger than a raven, but they need each other. The raven will call on the wolves. Where she flies, the wolves will follow. What she can’t touch, the wolves can. Where she’s too weak, the wolves are strong.”
It feels as though I’ve been waiting for this book forever. The ending of Raven and Maddoc’s story is everything I didn’t know I needed. It was like working on a puzzle and finally putting the last two stubborn pieces together.
“Kings have been named, kingdoms set. But it all comes down to the power of the queen, doesn’t it?”
Raven is still as strong and independent as always, but what I loved most was seeing her vulnerable. Raven is amazing and always tries to stay strong when others are weak. She’s also growing and realizing she needs others, or more appropriately, she needs her boys, and she’s willing to do anything for them.
“…but something your young souls have yet to face or understand is with life comes loss. With love, comes sacrifice.”
The boys. Uugh I love everything about them. They love deeper than anyone else and they fight harder than anyone else. They will protect each other and their queen above all else, even if they end up hurting each other in the process.
“A crooked crown is still a crown, right?”
This story will make your heart heavy and also have it jumping for joy. You’ll feel every emotion along with the characters and even though you won’t think it at times, you’ll be so happy you made it through this story.
“And so, the Raven led her wolves…” His smile is slow. “It all makes sense now. There was no other ending after the way it started.”
Hey, I’m Bre! I have been pulling all nighters to read since I was in middle school, and nothing has changed since. My love of reading turned into a love for writing and I now have my dream job — being a writer. I also get to wear pajamas to work, which is a pretty nice perk.
I love Starbuck’s tea, organizing, the ocean, and buying too many purses and books. Is there such a thing as too many purses or books? I have two energetic toddlers at home so I mostly read to stay sane.
While I genuinely enjoy a variety of genres, I enjoy getting lost in the paranormal and fantasy world and nothing can melt my heart faster than a small town romance.
