Fans of Christina Lauren and Colleen Hoover will love this sexy and emotional fourth book in the New York Times bestselling Dirty Deeds series.
After his wife died two years ago, Nathan Bell has neglected his responsibility to his baby daughter, letting his parents raise her while he loses himself in his work. But when his parents give him an ultimatum, Nate needs new child care... fast.
Jenna Savage can see the pain Nate is in and how much he desperately wants to connect with his daughter. It's not a problem at all for the single mom to watch his little girl along with her own two children. Soon, Jenna can't help but fall in love with Nate and the family they seem to be building together, but can the career-driven, guilt-ridden man look beyond his heartbreak and learn to love again?
I received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
There are often surprises that can be found in the most unexpected reads. F=Down too Deep was one such surprise for me. After seeing how much Stephanie was gushing and fangirling about this book I had to request it! And it didn’t disappoint!
The story follows Nathan Bell who after the death of his wife he has to care about his little girl. Stricken by grief and uncertainty he almost gives up. And then Jenna appears like an angel with two adorable twins…and saves the day. From there a close friendship develops slowly that evolves into something more and by the time I have reached the middle of the book I am begging them to kiss!
While the book is fourth in the series and I had no knowledge of the other side characters, I didn’t feel lost. I enjoyed the friendship between Nathan and Jenna with the others and also the trials of everyday life with a child. Jenna was amazing and I loved her for her empathy and unconditional love for Nathan’s daughter.
I totally recommend it for the humor but also for the deep emotional bond both Nathan and Jenna develop over the course of the book.
