I have been a huge fan of Christina Lauren’s for a while, so when I saw this book become available for ARC request, I had to snag a copy.

This book was so unique. After reading the synopsis, I was already pulled in by the treasure hunting and second-chance aspects, but this book went the extra mile. Let’s just say, things happen that you don’t expect–and it’s amazing!

This book revolves around Lily, a woman who has struggled her entire life, and doesn’t see an end in sight. After the death of her father and losing the one place that meant the world to her, Lily is working as a tourist guide on treasure hunts. It’s definitely not what she expected or wanted for her life, but she’s low on options. The last thing she expects is to see her long lost love come back with his friends for a treasure hunt.

Leo Grady has been going through his days with his main focus being his sister and taking care of her. When the annual yearly trip with his friends come up, Leo is beyond surprised to see that he will be going on a tour for treasure, and that the one woman he loved, and left, is the tour guide.

This book has so many twists I didn’t see coming. It was fun. Sexy. Addicting. I read this book so quick and couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a fun read that has just enough spice, mystery, and heartbreak.
