He'll do anything to have her...including lie.
Charming, deadly, and smart enough to hide it, Christian Harper is a monster dressed in the perfectly tailored suits of a gentleman.
He has little use for morals and even less use for love, but he can’t deny the strange pull he feels toward the woman living just one floor below him.
She’s the object of his darkest desires, the only puzzle he can’t solve. And when the opportunity to get closer to her arises, he breaks his own rules to offer her a deal she can’t refuse.
Every monster has their weakness. She’s his.
His obsession.
His addiction.
His only exception.**
Sweet, shy, and introverted despite her social media fame, Stella Alonso is a romantic who keeps her heart in a cage.
Between her two jobs, she has little time or desire for a relationship.
But when a threat from her past drives her into the arms—and house—of the most dangerous man she’s ever met, she’s tempted to let herself feel something for the first time in a long time.
Because despite Christian’s cold nature, he makes her feel everything when she’s with him.
Passionate.
Protected.
Truly wanted.Theirs is a love twisted with secrets and tainted by lies…and when the truths are finally revealed, they could shatter everything.
Twisted Lies is a steamy, medium to slow burn fake dating romance. It is the fourth and final book in the Twisted series but can be read as a standalone.
I received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
I must say I am surprised I can even find the words to write this review, that is how speechless I am. This book is the fourth and final book in the Twisted series by Ana Huang, and she couldn’t have wrapped it up better.
This book follows characters Christian and Stella. Stella is one of the four friends, and you briefly meet Christian in the previous books. This couple may seem unlikely, but the author wrote it in a way that makes you utterly obsessed with them.
Stella is a blogger and Instagram influencer who is trying to make her way through life. Her life seems to be on a stand-still. Her Instagram isn’t growing, her family is disappointed in her, and to make matters worse, her stalker is back. It’s so sad to see the anxiety Stella goes through because of her stalker and the stress of her career, but it just shows how realistic she is as a character. Throughout the book–which is a long book–you see her growth and strength. She is such an incredible, real character that it is so easy to connect with her.
Then you have Christian. Let’s all take a minute to fan ourselves. Yeah. Christian is the strong, quiet type. He owns the building Stella lives in as well as run a security company. Christian has things going on in his life that he’s kept locked and hidden. When he realizes Stella has a stalker, he steps in to help. Friends. Eventual roommates. More. I’m so in love with his character. I love how cold he is. I love seeing the slow breakdown of his walls. I loved watching his and Stella’s relationship develop. He was almost on the same level as my Alex.
This conclusion to the series was so well done. The book didn’t feel rushed. The world came into a full circle. Getting to see some of the previous characters was the cherry on top. And the epilogue? Screaming. So perfect! I’m so heartbroken to see the series come to an end, but I’m beyond satisfied with this ending and all of the books. Huge thank you to Ana for writing these incredible books and having us fall in love with the character and their world. Ten million stars for this book.
